Social network service

The goal of social network services is to build online communities of Internet users who share interests, hobbies, or causes. For example, some sites provide dating services, other services enable business networking and so on. In a typical social network service, users can register and edit their profile, which is presented by a webpage, showing all of the material they have entered. They can manage a friends' list, search for friends by name or email, and invite them to be friends in the social network service. They can also receive invitations and approve or disapprove them. They can add photos and videos to their profile for everyone to see. Some Internet users use social network services to manage many aspects of their lives, both social and business.
